Why this line is different
Protective apparel is where construction quality stops being cosmetic. A flame-resistant coverall, a turnout garment, or an extreme cold weather system has to perform when the person wearing it is having the worst day of their career.
That means stitch specification, thread selection, seam construction, and inspection all carry real consequence — and it’s why this line runs under the same ISO 9001 system and the same long-tenured operators as everything else on the floor.
Our iFRV Navy coverall program is currently in production. The ECWCS Gen III Layer 5 soft shell is a water-resistant garment, not a waterproof one — waterproof construction is handled on our seam sealing line. Our extreme cold weather capability is tooled and staffed but not running at the moment; capacity is available for a new award.
