Employee messaging privacy policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026.

Excel Manufacturing (Excel Garment Manufacturing, Limited) uses business messaging to communicate with employees and respond to HR questions. This policy explains how we handle information in that messaging program. It does not replace separate employee-record, benefits or applicant privacy notices.

Information used in messaging

We use your phone number, chosen messaging channel, permission and opt-out records, and the information needed to match the number to the correct employee. We keep messages you send and HR replies, together with dates, delivery or failure status and technical identifiers needed to route messages and prevent duplicates. A message with an attachment may also provide the attachment’s type and count.

We use this information to deliver the updates you agreed to receive, answer your questions, honor your choices, maintain accurate communication records and investigate delivery or security problems. We do not treat possession of a phone number, employment alone or a job application as permission for recurring employee messages.

Access and service providers

Employee conversations are available through a restricted HR inbox to authorized readers. They are not a public discussion board. A number that cannot be matched reliably to one employee is not automatically assigned that employee’s identity.

Messaging requires service providers. Twilio, mobile carriers and the provider of the channel you use—such as Meta for WhatsApp, or Google and participating carriers for RCS when available—process information needed to transmit and operate messaging. Hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, support delivery and protection of our systems. Those services may also apply their own privacy terms.

We do not sell mobile contact information or share it, or messaging opt-in and consent records, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional use. Necessary processing by providers that operate our messaging service is different from giving them permission to market to you. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

Your choices

You can ask HR to update an incorrect phone number or your messaging preferences. To stop messages on a channel, send STOP in that conversation. You can also contact HR to withdraw permission, including for more than one channel. Stopping one channel does not itself change preferences on another; tell HR if you want all optional messaging stopped.

Opting out stops further program messages on the affected channel. It does not automatically erase existing HR records or the limited evidence needed to respect your opt-out. To ask about access, correction or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity through an appropriate secure process.

Security

Access restrictions and technical safeguards help protect messaging records, but no messaging service is risk-free. Do not send Social Security numbers, government-ID images or numbers, bank or payment details, passwords, or medical documents in an ordinary message. Ask HR for the appropriate secure process instead.

Contact and changes

For messaging or privacy questions, contact Excel Manufacturing at (915) 544-0126 or info@excelmfg.net and ask to be connected with HR. Do not include sensitive employee documents in that initial request. Our business address is 7085 Alameda Avenue, El Paso, TX 79915.

We will identify updates with a revised effective date. A change to this policy does not, by itself, authorize a new messaging purpose or a new channel.
